As a leader on the Growth Marketing Team, you’ll be responsible for overseeing paid performance and growth strategy across the following marketing channels (Search, Social, Display, Online Video, Affiliate, and Mobile App acquisition channels). You will be responsible for driving our customer acquisition and growth efforts while analyzing our customer acquisition costs across all performance marketing channels to meet our new customer acquisition goals while optimizing for high-quality customers and maximizing ROI based on our budget.

What Your Days Will be Like:

  • You’ll be leading a team and working with cross-functional partners in Marketing, Finance, Creative, Analytics, BI, Product.
  • Lead all paid media marketing efforts with responsibilities including media investment, channel diversification, testing, and analytics.
  • You will drive and optimize paid media and financial forecasts, analyze creative assets and channel performance and build tools & dashboards, analyze and automate campaign performance.
  • Partner with key CFX marketing peers including Enterprise, CRM, Brand and Creative and SEO to optimize our paid media acquisition efforts with these channels in mind. 
  • Develop, manage, and monitor a very large paid media budget and key metrics across the brand as well by business verticals and channels including budget pacing, registrations, subscriptions, LTV, and CAC.

What You'll Be Working On:

  • Drive the strategy, development, and execution of our acquisition marketing campaigns across all paid media channels while partnering closely with earned and organic channels to best identify, acquire and retain our customer base.
  • Test new channels and technology to identify areas of growth opportunities across audiences, inventory and channels to accelerate marketing contributions to business performance..
  • Establish channel forecasts and budget recommendations, with the speed and ownership to adjust tactics and strategies quickly based on learnings and opportunities.
  • Partner with our creative teams and agencies to generate creativity that is highly engaging and performant.
  • Analyze the results of all campaigns while finding opportunities to improve and optimize the performance going forward and share out big picture learnings.
  • Communicate campaign results to the executive leadership team and company more broadly, publish program dashboards, and measure the downstream impact of campaigns in terms of pipeline and revenue generated
  • Work closely with the other teams and stakeholders to ensure company goals are met and continue to evolve our media mix and attribution models to higher levels of sophistication, learning and insights.  
  • In addition to acquiring and retaining customers to our core marketplace business, you’ll also be responsible for using paid media channels to increase overall brand metrics as well as adoption of new products and verticals.

What You’ll Need to Succeed:

  • 10+ years of experience managing teams and budgets in growth and paid media acquisition marketing efforts that include both consumer and enterprise offerings.
  • Full funnel and channel expertise with a heightened sense of expertise honing the right budget allocation and mix across TV/OTT/High Impact Video, paid search, paid social, digital video, digital display and affiliate channels.
  • Ability to work with attribution and media mix models to drive the right planning and forecasting efforts while being able to adapt and optimize based on real-time performance data and insights.  And then feed that loop with continuous rigor.
  • Ability to drive the right balance and alignment between consumer marketplace acquisition efforts and enterprise targeting and lead generation efforts. 
  • 5+ years of experience managing a large team, with a strong ability to inspire and coach, a history of hiring, managing, and leading high-performing teams.
  • Proven ability to utilize qualitative and quantitative data to develop actionable insights, and a thorough understanding of cross-channel attribution.
  • Ability to think strategically across the short, medium, and long term and an interest in watching evolving media trends and technology to serve your brand.
  • Thoughtful, collaborative leader with strong communication skills and the ability to influence others.
  • Experience overseeing a large marketing budget, and holistically managing to spend allocation across channels.

  • Experience leading digital marketing efforts across paid social, paid search, programmatic, affiliate, mobile/app, emerging within a direct response environment
  • Deep familiarity with CPA, CPC, CPM, and LTV
  • Establish and manage day in and day out testing-and-learning plans to continuously optimize creative performance
  • Report performance to senior leadership on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis, highlighting opportunities or trends for continuous improvement

Salary Range: $216,000 to $250,000. The base salary range above represents the anticipated low and high end of the national salary range for this position. Actual salaries may vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to work location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Care.com’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonuses and short- and long-term incentives.
